Dr Craig is a trained medical doctor. He spent 20+ years as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist in public and private practice. For much of this time, he was Head of Department of O&G at Albury-Wodonga Health and also involved in wider governance roles. More recently, Dr Craig has completed a Master of Positive Psychology, which has also informed his interest in wellbeing of teams and individuals. He has released a book on optimisation of team-building and organisational culture in healthcare, and through his company PosMed, provides individual coaching and advisory services to organisations. Currently, Dr Craig is working as the Director of Medical Services at Royal Darwin Hospital.
