The course extends the core capabilities of healthcare clinicians and senior management staff to include clinical leadership, safety and quality systems and financial management in healthcare. What you will study

To complete the Graduate Certificate of Health Management, you must fulfil 24 credit points (four units).

You must complete 24 credit points from the following units

  • Law for Health Systems
  • Clinical Leadership and Management
  • Principles of Health Care Quality Improvement
  • Financial Management in Health Care
  • Foundations of Health Policy
  • Principles of Health Systems

Entry requirements

  • An Australian bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.

Relevant work experience in health and public health administration includes the health industry, e.g. government, policy, providers such as hospitals, clinics, non-government organisations (NGO), academic or research institutions, consulting, pharmacists and pharmaceutical companies, etc.

English requirements

  • Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.
