Entry requirements
Applicants for a Graduate Certificate must meet the University's academic and English language entry standards; details are provided at http://study.curtin.edu.au/. Applicants generally require a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent credit gained for recognised learning. Any specific course entry and completion requirements must also be met. All Curtin courses have compulsory and other core capabilities essential for achieving course learning outcomes and graduation. Students who cannot meet or demonstrate those requirements, now or in later stages during their studies, may seek reasonable adjustments by the University, wherever possible, to facilitate alternative ways of achieving those requirements. Career outcomes
Occupational therapy clients may be individuals, groups or communities. Occupational therapists strive to assist clients in maximising or enabling their participation in their occupation - work, leisure or self-care. As such, occupational therapy is practised in various settings, including hospitals, health centres, homes, workplaces, schools and housing for seniors. Clients are actively involved in the therapeutic process and outcomes of occupational therapy are diverse, client-driven and measured in terms of participation or satisfaction derived from participation. Work opportunities exist throughout Australia and other World Federation of Occupational Therapists member countries.

Average first-year fee in 2025: $16,760 (domestic full-fee paying place)
All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 100 credit points (normally four units) per year.
A student’s annual fee may vary by:
