Explore more than just the clinical side of midwifery through various specialisations and pathways, allowing you to diversify your skillset and broaden your professional prospects. With specialisations in advanced clinical, education, management, leadership and research, you can tailor the course to your needs and passions.
Master the design of educational encounters in clinical environments that maximise learning and minimise barriers. You'll gain essential skills in the midwifery-led continuity of care model to interpret, evaluate and apply evidence to inform practice change and improve health outcomes for women and babies. You'll learn to observe, discuss, analyse and reflect on contemporary clinical education practice while gaining advanced teaching skills in curriculum planning, program development, educational communication and assessment. You'll then use instructional design principles to develop your learning program, aligning activities, assessments and evaluation approaches with its objectives.
