Graduates of this course will have specialised knowledge of the application of psychological principles and theory to workplace settings, which include organisations of all forms, industries and sizes. This course includes self-paced learning and participation in interactive workshops for all units, offered both online and in a timetabled and face-to-face delivery mode.

The course offers training in the following areas: work design to enhance employee engagement, health, safety and human factors, organisational change and development, psychology of leadership, teamwork and employability development.

Upon completing the course, students can review, analyse, and synthesise knowledge and provide solutions to complex problems relating to the human side of work.

Entry requirements

Academic requirements

To be considered for admission to this course, an applicant must have one of the following:

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA
  • And the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent

English language requirements

English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA and you will need to meet the English language requirements of the university to be eligible for a place.

  • Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.
