Course overview
The Graduate Certificate in Nursing Informatics Leadership at Victoria University develops specialist skills for registered nurses working with digital health systems, information technology and healthcare improvement. You will explore how nursing informatics can support safer care, improve clinical workflows and strengthen the use of information in nursing practice.
Throughout the course, you will examine nursing informatics systems, leadership and management, quality improvement and innovation. Delivered 100% online through VU Online’s Block Model, the course is studied part-time over a minimum of eight months. You complete one seven-week unit at a time, with approximately 20 hours of study recommended per week, and can begin in any of six study periods throughout the year.
